Titchwell R.S.P.B. 29th Sept 2016.

A trip to Titchwell started with a walk towards the beach, on the way numerous dragonflies were hawking along the main path, this is where i managed to get the shot of a common darter which was resting for awhile.
From the beach we saw a few shorebirds, this included a nice grey plover which was showing its black arm pits as it flew past.
We seawatched for a good while seeing gannets, cormorants, gulls and a distant arctic skua dogfighting with a sandwich tern which did not give up its last meal.
On the way back the black-tailed godwit and the black-headed gull were in the channel next to the saltmarsh they were not disturbed by the camera shutter and carried on feeding as we passed by.
After some lunch we decided to go and have a look at Patsy's Pool, on the way I noticed a strange shaped aircraft in the sky, I took some shots, and from these I could see that i had photographed an Airbus A300-600ST Beluga- No1 of 5 i discovered from shots blown up- probably on its way to an Airbus factory in Hamburg, Germany -from their factory's in the U.K. one at Filton near Bristol and the other at Broughton, North Wales where they produce wings and sections for Airbus aircraft- where they are finally assembled.
We reached Patsy's Pool and sat on a bench, from here we saw little grebe, little egret, and the normal ducks, geese and common waterbirds feeding and resting on the pool.
