24th November 2013:- Holt Country Park, Norfolk.
A trip to Holt Country Park today resulted in me seeing these Parrot Crossbills, that have been frequenting the area for a while. I arrived at about 10a.m. and turned into the park entrance, here there was about 30+ birders all looking skyward into the top of conifer trees. I quickly parked, walked back to the entrance and found the crossbills feeding in the top of a tree. This pair then flew to the top and i managed to grab these shots.
