Frampton Marsh R.S.P.B.:- 22nd February 2014
On the way home from Boston I once again dropped into Frampton. The Scaup have been seen for a while so i was pleased to get these shots of this much sort after bird as they wintering numbers are declining. A walk along the hedgerow was good, with yellowhammer. tree sparrow, reed bunting and chaffinch present. As i was watching the scaup the golden plover flew over, and from the visitors centre i clicked more tree sparrows, goldfinchs, a male reed bunting as these superb greenfinchs. On the drive home i saw this common buzzard quartering the fields so i stopped the car a quickly grabbed a few shots.
