Roydon Common: 15th April 2012
An early morning trip to Roydon Common was productive, with a quiet start, i walked on to Grimston Warren and found 3 Woodlark, Buzzard, and 2 Wheatears on the top field.
On the way back to the car- the northerly wind increasing- Stonechats were seen flitting from bush to bush with a Kestrel hunting overhead. I noticed 3 birders on the ridge walked to where they were at found 9 Ring Ouzels feeding. The shots are a bit distant however these shy birds are hard to photo so the results i think are good.
